Carmel High School is in mourning following the tragic death of boys’ lacrosse head coach Jack Meachum. According to Carmel Clay Schools, Meachum, age 31, was fatally injured in a car accident on Tuesday evening.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office responded to an accident involving two vehicles on State Road 38 and Six Points Road in Sheridan. Jack Meachum’s family will release the details of his obituary.
When deputies arrived, they discovered Meachum’s SUV in a ravine and a vehicle with its roof missing on the side of the road.
Meachum expired immediately. The driver of the second vehicle, Sheridan resident Brennan Smith, 26, died shortly after arriving at an Indianapolis hospital.
